FINANCIAL AID PROCESS STEPS

"Am I Dependent or Independent?"

---

1. Apply for Federal Financial Aid by going to studentaid.gov (free application):  

• Apply for your FSA ID at http://fsaid.ed.gov .

2. Complete Verification Process (if required):

• Visit your myWallaceState 
  • Select Financial Aid.
  • Click "My Required Documents".  
  • Select the appropriate school year.

3. 完成直接学生贷款步骤(如适用):  

• Accept loan offer online.  Continue to http://studentaid.gov/ 完成斯塔福德贷款入学咨询和主本票.
• 贷款要求学生在澳门威尼斯人APP下载州立社区注册至少6个学时 College for disbursement. 贷款在预期的入学期限内平均支付 for the academic year. 贷款发放需要确认上课出席.

4. 家长PLUS贷款(如适用):  

• 前往澳门威尼斯人APP下载州立大学的财政援助网页查看PLUS贷款信息. Complete 将PLUS贷款申请提交给办公室.
• Go to http://studentaid.gov/ to complete the PLUS Master Promissory Note.
• PLUS贷款需要一个可接受的信用记录，可以支付给学生 per parent authorization.  学生在申请PLUS之前必须有FAFSA档案.

5. 申请联邦勤工俭学计划(如果有兴趣):  

• 向勤工俭学主管提交勤工俭学申请 Services Office.  你可以在办公室或网上申请

6. Apply Aid to your Student Account:  

• 每学期定期报到时进行课程注册.
• Get books during the book charge period.
• 参加每节课和/或完成所有要求的在线课程作业 the semester.
• Authorized 助学金将保留你的课程安排，直到商务办公室将资金寄给学生 账户，支付费用和发放结余资金给有证件的在校学生 at the end of the third week of the term.

7. Get your Refund:  

• 学生必须检查学期时间表，以了解何时支付经济援助 Balance Checks. 余额检查在规定的付款日之后的第二天邮寄. 你也可以查看澳门威尼斯人APP下载州日历.  Wallace State now offers eRefunds by Direct Deposit. 访问您的myWallaceState帐户并通过“付款”申请 Processing" link.

8. Get Books for Class:  

• 您可以使用校内书店收费程序申请书籍和用品 to your financial aid account.  详细的收费手续可在此查阅 in the course schedule.

9. Class Attendance:  

• 财政援助的支付需要每个课程讲师的出勤记录.
• 一定要查看课程大纲，完成出勤和/或参与 每门课程要求在开学第一周内及时完成 aid disbursements.
• 不出席的学生可能会减少经济援助奖励.
